Pretty Hate Machine European Tour
Shortly after finishing their run on the first-ever Lollapalooza tour, Nine Inch Nails went on their first-ever European tour. They played a mix of headlining and opening concerts over the course of one month. The tour is part of the Pretty Hate Machine Tour series.
Line-Up
- Richard Patrick: Guitar, backing vocals
- Trent Reznor: Vocals, guitar
- Jeff Ward: Drums
- James Woolley: Keyboards, programming, backing vocals
Stage Set-Up
The setup for this tour had an industrial aesthetic, and used basic lighting and fog machines. There was also a gate/cage-like structure made of metal pipe that went across the stage, separating the drum riser area from the rest of the band. The drum riser was hollow with a metal grate on the front, and some of the lighting was placed inside.
Typical setlist
- "Now I'm Nothing"
- "Terrible Lie"
- "Sin"
- "Physical"
- "The Only Time"

"Ringfinger", "Suck", and "That's What I Get" were also added to their headlining shows.
