'''Nine Inch Nails''' is the studio name for [[Trent Reznor]], as well as the name of the band hired by him to perform songs while on tour. Nine Inch Nails was formed in Cleveland, Ohio circa 1988 and have so far released five full-length studio albums, as well as many EPs, remix albums, and live releases. No one in Ohio has claimed responsibility for Mr. Reznor (as He likes to be called) or his music. It has been supposed that Nine Inch Nails, hereafter refered referred to as NIN, is actually messages sent from the future and transcribed by Mr. Reznor. If one were to attempt to trace the roots of this NIN one might find that it abruptly starts and stops at will as if it were a living organism, as if perhaps it was conciousness consciousness itself - expanding and breathing.
