'''Chris Vrenna''' (born February 23, 1967) was the live drummer for [[Nine Inch Nails]] from 1989 to 1997 having met [[Trent Reznor]] in Cleveland, Ohio in the early 80s mid-1980s when they were roommates and both played in a local band called the Exotic Birds. Additionally, Vrenna has been credited as an engineer for for ''[[Pretty Hate Machine]]'' and ''[[The Downward Spiral (halo)|The Downward Spiral]]'', as well as playing live drums on the latter. He can be seen performing in the music videos for "[[Gave Up]]", "[[Wish (song)|Wish]]", and "[[March of the Pigs (song)|March of the Pigs]]" on ''[[Closure]]'', and also makes a brief appearance in "[[The Perfect Drug]]" video.
After leaving NIN, Vrenna formed the band [[Tweaker]]. The band has two full-length albums entitled ''The Attraction to All Things Uncertain'' and ''2 A.M. Wakeup Call,'' as well as a new album due out in 2008. Vrenna's inspiration is derived mainly from surreal paintings and dreams.
