'''Jeff Ward''' (November 1962–March 19, 1993) toured with [[Nine Inch Nails]] briefly in their early days. He had also worked with Ministry (with them notable singing lots of vocals in the song Breathe), Lard, Low Pop Suicide, and Revolting Cocks, among others. He was an extremely buff guy, and had a country cowboy meets flava flav-jewelry type look and he occasionally wore glasses. On stage sometimes he also had a Paul Bunyan/Norwegian style look.

Sadly, Ward died in 1993 of self-induced carbon monoxide poisoning after a long struggle with heroin addiction. Before this it was reported he killed his wife. ''[[The Downward Spiral (halo)|The Downward Spiral]]'' contains a dedication to him in its liner notes.
