This is the second soundtrack that Reznor and Ross have worked on together, the previous being ''[[The Social Network Soundtrack]],'' also for David Fincher. It was confirmed on January 7, 2011, on a ''New York Times'' panel interview.

No tracklist has yet been announced==Music==So far, but in the debut trailer for two pieces of music have been released from the film, . The first is a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" was featured, with the featuring vocals of by [[wp:Karen O|Karen O]], and music by Reznor and Ross, from the official teaser trailer for the film.
