The album contains work from Aphex Twin (Richard D. James): "At The Heart Of It All" and the second half of "The Beauty Of Being Numb". James allegedly claims to have never heard The Downward Spiral, thus revealing his contributions to be two original pieces instead of remixes. As well, "At The Heart Of It All" may be based on or influenced by the Coil song of the same name, the band being signed to Trent Reznor's Nothing Records prior to its fold.
Truncation on Streaming Services and DSPs
The following songs are erroneously truncated on the digital release of the US/Domestic version on iTunes, Spotify, etc. The truncated times are below, the correct times are as above. Most songs are missing over a minute of content, while the “Self Destruction, Final” remix has been cut in half. Universal/Interscope has yet to fix this.

* “At the Heart of it All” (6:10)
* “Self Destruction, Final” (5:41)
* “The Beauty of Being Numb” (5:00)
