'''Cool Down Daddy''' was a band that [[Trent Reznor]] was in for a brief time in 1988, before [[Nine Inch Nails]]. The band consisted of Bruce Somers on drums (also producer for [[Slam Bamboo]]), Don Cook on guitar, Marty Step on keyboards (also in [[Exotic Birds]]), Trent Reznor on keyboards, and Sean Beavan on vocals and bass (also worked on many Nine Inch Nails releases and related things, including ''[[Broken]]'', ''[[Fixed]]'', ''[[The Downward Spiral (halo)|The Downward Spiral]]'', ''[[Closer To God (halo)|Closer To God]]'', ''[[Further Down The Spiral]]'', [[Slam Bamboo]], and ''Hanson: The Movie''), and [[Trent Reznor]] on keyboards.

Cool Down Daddy had no releases but were featured on the various artists compilation ''Exhibit C: Ohio's Undercurrent'', put out by Play Records in 1988. The song featured on the compilation is "Sometimes She Smiles".
