'''''The Black Ghiandola''''' is a post-apocalyptic zombie horror short film, written by and starring 16-year old cancer patient Anthony Conti, and produced by the Make a Film Foundation. [[Trent Reznor]] and [[Atticus Ross]] provided the soundtrack for the film.

Make a Film Foundation grants film wishes to children and teenagers who have serious or life-threatening medical conditions helping them to create short film legacies by teaming them with noted actors, writers and directors. A child or teenager who suffers from a serious or life-threatening medical condition has the opportunity, with the help of industry mentors, to write and star in their own short film. They star in the film with well-known actors, and a noted director directs the piece. All cast and crew participate on a volunteer basis.

The film stars Hollywood A-listers, including J.K. Simmons, Laura Dern, David Lynch, Richard Chamberlain, and Johnny Depp. It was co-written by Scott Kosar and Wash Westmoreland, and directed by Catherine Hardwicke, Theodore Melfi, and Sam Raimi. The Reznor and Ross soundtrack has not been released separately.

The short was filmed in November 2016, and released on April 22, 2017. Conti passed away on January 29, 2017 [https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/legacyremembers/anthony-conti-obituary?pid=183854006], but he was able to see the finished film. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXGbAFLSDhA]
