Changes

In 2021, Soul repeated the feat of The Social Network, earning Reznor and Ross both the Academy Award and Golden Globe for best original score, and Reznor and Ross collaborated with Halsey on her fourth album, If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power. During this same time period, NIN recorded the collaborative single "Isn't Everyone" with HEALTH. NIN embarked on a tour in 2022 to make up for canceled tour dates from 2020 and 2021. The aesthetic for the tour was mainly a continuation of the Cold And Black And Infinite Tour.
Scores for Empire of Light and Bones and All were released in 2022, the latter kicking off what has become an ongoing collaboration with director Luca Guadagnino, much like the ongoing collaboration with David Fincher. Scores for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Fincher's The Killer were released in 2023. The following year brought three more scores: Challengers and Queer for Guadagnino, as well as the score for The Gorge. For the first time since Quake in 1996, a soundtrack by NIN was announced for the film Tron: Ares in 2025.
Reznor and Ross also announced in 2024 that they had formed a company called With Teeth, a production venture dealing in multiple disciplines. They stated that there were plans for various film and TV productions, a fashion line, a music festival where Reznor and Ross would perform as composers, a record label, and an extended reality gaming experience in partnership with Epic Games. Around this same time period, several brand collaborations started to take place, and a virtual supergroup band called WitchGang (with Reznor and Ross, among others, having some level of involvement) also cropped up.
