He attended the University of Florida and then worked as a retouching artist for Magia Media, before spending several years as a freelance artist specializing in photographic illustration and manipulation. He worked as a retoucher, compositor, and finisher in entertainment advertising for over fifteen years, and won many awards for his work. His clients during this time included such names as CW TV, FOX TV, [[Interscope Records]], Neutrogena, and Paul Mitchell.
He has also been involved in the development of the [[With Teeth (company)|With Teeth]] company, and serves and as a Creative Executive.
