Talk:Things Falling Apart
The Great Collapse
Okay, so what is this song? Is it a remix of "The Wretched" or is it a completely original composition? If we seem to agree that it's a remix of "The Wretched" it should go on that page. But if it's an original composition it should get its own article.--Leo3375 15:46, 12 November 2007 (PST)
- It's original. See explanation on www.nin.ru/tfa (original TFA website archived there) in 'info' section.
"...The Great Collapse, a new song recorded during The Fragile sessions and comleted by Trent Reznor and Alan Moulder just prior to NIN's 2000 U.S. tour." -fillow 02:53, 13 November 2007 (PST)
- That's strange...I always considered it a mash-up of "The Wretched" and "Into the Void"...by the way, does it say anywhere who did the female vocals on this track? Aeontriad 14:50, 25 June 2008 (PDT)
- I do believe that it's actually Trent's voice and not a female.--leo3375 01:05, 26 June 2008 (PDT)
Starfuckers names?
http://www.nincatalog.com/item.asp?key=01-01638 lists the three versions as AS, DO and CC respectively (that's the remixers' initials btw). Should we make a note? sheepdean Try to speak as clearly as you can 09:06, 21 August 2010 (PDT)
- unnecessary IMHO, since they're already there in Credits section BenAkenobi 10:05, 21 August 2010 (PDT)
- worth mention, methinks. none of them are titled "(version)" and the SF mixes are the only ones with initials for identifiers. it's the only thing that has officially differentiated the SF mixes on the tracklist. should probably be the standard by which we call them! - seasonsinthesky 09:28, 23 August 2010 (PDT)
- How would we all feel about an addendum at the bottom of the CD listing noting that version titles. And perhaps on Starfuckers' page too sheepdean Try to speak as clearly as you can 09:33, 23 August 2010 (PDT)
- looks like they're already marked on the song page. maybe worth adding link to those individual descriptions on the song page under every "(Version)" on TFA page?BenAkenobi 12:47, 23 August 2010 (PDT)
