Hoax!
Isn't it pretty clear that this is a hoax? Firefox users do this: right-click on the Year Zero page and select "View Page Info." It gives the last time the page was modified a couple of lines above the "Meta" box. If they added these videos to the site, this date would've changed on 9 Apr, then again (on 10 Apr? or whatever date they were removed) when the videos were removed. Currently the modify date on the site is still 4 Apr 2007. MadCactus 15:17, 10 April 2007 (PDT)
- There's a lot of evidence to indicate that they were never up on NIN.com, not that they aren't real. The jury is still out on that, as if they are a hoax they're extrodinarily elaborate. But this page isn't about what is or is not real, this is about the facts and what we know for sure. "Pretty clear" or "somewhat obvious" don't make truths. Until we know for sure, it'll still be undecided. Now real or not, though, I have to admit they were pretty damn cool videos. GrayscaleRain 15:55, 10 April 2007 (PDT)
- The only evidence to them not being up on nin.com is the admin saying he polls the site. Unfortunatly it's not hard to change the site for a short ammount of time and revert it back without chaning the "modified" timestamp on the original page... including virtual directroy redirecting and copy&paste. The trackers poll the site every now and then, not 24/7. It's not hard to get a temporary change through until they knew someone downloaded the videos.

Survivalism Connection?
The first is a video of someone searching over a website...
A man is on a computer in the Survivalism video. Is this a possible connection? --Electric 12:11, 29 April 2007 (PDT)
If you were going to make fake videos to tie into YZ, wouldn't you feature that guy? They're fake, as Tony said. J. 12:35, 29 April 2007 (PDT)
