The song begins with a nearly melotone [[Trent Reznor]] singing the verses and repeating, "Why do you get all the love in the world?". Synth drums are used in a slow-style IDM-esque drumbeat. About three minutes into the song an interpolation occurs. The song transitions into a set of piano chords, and slowly introduces actual drums, and eventually an electric bass.
