Nine Inch Nails were the opening act for the Jesus and Mary Chain's 1990 tour in support of their third record, Automatic. Their song "Snakedrive"' appears alongside Nine Inch Nails' rendition of "Dead Souls" on the 1994 soundtrack to The Crow.
