Reznor ribbed on the light technician during the lyrics of "[[Only (song)|Only]]" by singing:
"Sometimes I think can I see the lights on the stage, and sometimes I fucking don't."
instead of the chorus when the lights wouldn't work properly.
Festival coordinators started the end fireworks too soon (NIN was the last act to play), in the middle of the song "[[Hurt]]." This confused and obviously amused Reznor, who paused the song and remarked:
"Well, this is a first!"
and watched the fireworks with the rest of the crowd before finishing the song.
