The Melvins open and find out firsthand that Minnesota nice doesn't extend to warmup acts.They'Add interesting things re pelted with garbage and coins and pretty much anything that happened isn't bolted down. The Target Center crowd boos them mercilessly from start to finish. A couple of hours later, Trent Reznor addresses the crowd after opening the encore of Nine Inch Nails' set with Closer: "OK fuckers. What do you want? Hey, if by chance we ever do come back here, and memorable quotes hereby grace of God we bring the Melvins with us, respect them as Gods.OK? You people are uninformed. It's OK.You're confused. I'm sorry."
