Dave Grohl actually uses his tom-toms (hi-mid one or his floor one) in the drumming, not a double bass pedal. He has said on numerous occasions that he never has used those pedals and never will. Also, if you watch "Beside You In Time", you can see Josh Freese using the tom-toms when he is perfectly capable of achieving that kind of speed with a double bass pedal. Just saying. I'm a bit of a Dave Grohl fanboy, so I apologize. [[User:Doomguy13|doomguy13]] | Dave Grohl actually uses his tom-toms (hi-mid one or his floor one) in the drumming, not a double bass pedal. Connection to Year Zero
After reading lyrics (the ones on and especially off the album cut), it might have a connection with Year Zero somehow, specifically with "The Warning." Its themes of futility, returning "To nowhere back to nothing," and misanthropy shown through an apparently superior viewpoint sound like another message from The Presence.
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
- I think it's more just TR ripping the shit out of himself in the third person. - YZ was not WT, WT was the end product of a cocept album that never was, but that concept was highly different to YZ sheepdean Try to speak as clearly as you can 15:08, 5 June 2009 (PDT)
