Reznor sings in a different key when performing "Somewhat Damaged" live due to the intense vocal stress it would bring normally. During the [[With_Teeth: Summer Amphitheater Tour]], "Somewhat Damaged" had a substantially different introduction.
In On the [[Fragility Tour]] tour the song was played pretty much the same as the album version, with Reznor on the guitar. However in later tours a new introduction was added to the song, making it no longer necessary for Reznor to play.
