Almost immediately after leaving The Jesus and Mary Chain's Automatic Tour, Nine Inch Nails was tapped as an opening act for Peter Murphy's Deep Tour. They were with the tour until the end of April in 1990. The tour is part of the Pretty Hate Machine Tour series.
