Ron Musarra was the original drummer for Nine Inch Nails for a brief period in 1988, during the band's stint in supporting Skinny Puppy. He was replaced by Chris Vrenna, who had originally played keyboards. He had previously been a member of Slam Bamboo with Trent Reznor. Musarra is thanked in the original liner notes of Pretty Hate Machine and may have played drums on the Purest Feeling demos.
