Nine Inch Nails played at the Knickerbocker Arena (now the Times Union Center) in Albany, New York, on December 4, 1994 as part of the Further Down The Spiral Tour. Marilyn Manson and Jim Rose Circus were the opening acts.

- During Marilyn Manson's set, hundreds of fans in the seated sections stampeded down the aisles through security in order to reach the general admission floor.
- The headlining NIN set ended early when an audience member threw a shoe that hit Chris Vrenna in the head toward the end of "Head Like A Hole", which prompted the band to not return for an encore.
