"Even Deeper" is the eighth track on the Left disc of The Fragile. It is a relatively slow and atmospheric track. Its title and lyrics may or may not be related to "Deep."
Dr. Dre was brought in to help with the mixing on this track. The collaboration came about because he and Trent Reznor crossed paths in a studio in Los Angeles during The Downward Spiral period, began talking about the sound that Dre had achieved on his music, and this led to a friendship.[1][2] Some of the backing vocalists on this track have appeared on recordings by Dre and other rap artists during this time period.
