-Actually guys this is definitely a remix. Go to March of the Fuckheads on remix.nin.com - look at the info that Trent himself put in the description box - it says, and I quote: Remixed by Adrian Sherwood, taken from "Closer To God" - this should be changed. :Jgrrizzy, the problem with that is he doesn't say what it's a remix of. Trent HAS made slip ups in the past, and this is old enough that he may simply not remember. No one has yet pieced together any song(s) to make similar sounds, and I can't hear any other song in it. For now, it'll be left as a song until either official confirmation happens, or someone manages to recreate all or part of it. Not a remix of March of the Pigs

omg pruf? -Heroicraptor 01:58, 9 July 2007 (PDT)

It's still in debate at this point, but this instrumental doesn't bear much similarity to MOTP. (God, I suck at describing music verbally.) The tempo is slower and there is no real common sound element other than some of the drums. I created this page simply to appease some of the readers who may argue that this isn't a remix but instead an original track. If you think it might be better to transfer the information on this page to the MOTP (song) page, please do.--Leo3375 07:44, 9 July 2007 (PDT)
The version of MOTF that I have sounds like a remix of MOTP. The only real difference is the drums, which are in 4/4 as opposed to 29/8, and the piano interlude gets cut off at one point. But that's just my $.2. --Tonyconverse! 09:16, 9 July 2007 (PDT)
I thought we had finally received a definitive answer from Trent. Apparently there's a "ask trent questions" thread on the spiral forums, so I asked someone to ask about the lineage of this song. If you could check on the staus of that, that would be pimpin. -Heroicraptor 11:06, 9 July 2007 (PDT)
There's nothing at the Spiral from Trent about MOTP/MOTF. I just looked through the thread there. They keep the questions and answers in separate threads.--Leo3375 12:18, 9 July 2007 (PDT)
I know this sounds stupid, but to me, MOTF sounds a bit like the beginning of Happiness in Slavery, minus the vocals. --Wizfan 12:13, 4 September 2007 (PDT)
I first thought that too. The entire song as a whole reminds me of Happiness in Slavery. Maybe it's just the heavy industrial approach of the song though. --Vaki 19:27, 12 November 2007 (PST)
Whoops, I had MOTF confused with All The Pigs up above. Yeah, it's defiantly not a remix. --Tonyconverse! 14:44, 4 September 2007 (PDT)
