Shortly after finishing their run on the first-ever Lollapalooza tour, Nine Inch Nails went on their first-ever European tour. They played a mix of headlining and opening concerts over the course of one month. The tour is part of the Pretty Hate Machine Tour series.

The setup for this tour had an industrial aesthetic, and used basic lighting and fog machines.
