Notes
The Melvins open and find out firsthand that Minnesota niceness doesn't extend to warmup acts. They're pelted with garbage and coins and pretty much anything that wasn't bolted down. The Target Center crowd booed them mercilessly from start to finish.
A couple of hours later, Trent Reznor addressed the crowd after opening the encore of Nine Inch Nails' set with Closer:
"OK fuckers. What do you want? Hey, if by chance we ever do come back here, and by grace of God we bring the Melvins with us, respect them Gods. OK? You people are uninformed. It's OK. You're confused. I'm sorry."

There's a pretty good quality audience recording from this show. It skips at a couple of points in Pinion and Mr. Self Destruct, but otherwise is very serviceable.
