Nick Rushe was the keyboardist for Nine Inch Nails for a brief period in 1989, during the "Pretty Hate Machine" Promotional Tour. He replaced Chris Vrenna on the keyboards, so that Vrenna would be able to play drums for the band instead. Rushe came from the Exotic Birds and he worked on one studio album with the band and Trent Reznor (who was also in the Exotic Birds at the time). He was replaced by David Haymes.
