other than a record player Equipment-wise, you’ll need an RCA to 1/8” headphone jack cable and an MP3 encoder that gives you the option of recording any audio from your line-in. If you want to do any more serious recording with some spiffier controls and options, you’ll want to look into something like Adobe’s Audition or Sound Forge. Is there any way to convert a vinyl song to an MP3? Or has there been any word on if this will be released on a digital download site such as iTunes? Because I'd rather not buy the vinyl and equipment to listen to it/convert it, nor would I like to steal it... So any word on the online download? And if not, is there any way to convert?
