Nine Inch Nails have pioneered the idea of giving away multitracks or song masters away to the general public for remix purposes. All multitracks are available for download from the fan-made site ninremixes.com, here. Alternatively, a selection of multitracks can be downloaded from the official NIN remix site, remix.nin.com, here. The game Rock Band also contains songs that can be downloaded and used as multitracks.
