"Burn" is a song created for the Natural Born Killers Soundtrack, which was produced by Trent. It is a very intense track containing lyrics with anti-social and angry themes.
Appearances
Burn was included as a bonus track on the Deluxe edition of The Downward Spiral. It also appears on the live DVD Beside You In Time.
The Video
The video for "Burn" is similar to the various screen projections used throughout Nine Inch Nails tours. Images of people, nature, and general destruction and decay and interspersed with images from the film and Trent singing.
Performed Live
The song has become a staple of the live performances. It features heavy synthesizer parts that render the intro almost unrecognizable.
