David Haymes was the keyboardist for Nine Inch Nails for a brief period in 1990, during the band's stint in supporting Peter Murphy. He replaced Nick Rushe and was later replaced by Lee Mars.
Haymes was given the nickname "Tailpipe" by the band because he "always smelled."
