Its first appearance was on the free sampler download for The Social Network.
A shorter version of the piece is titled "Something's Happened" on the Sony Pictures website for Academy Award consideration, although its file name has no contraction ("Something Happened").

Versions
The Gentle Hum Of Anxiety
This is the original version. Beginning with manipulated piano synthesizers, a slow bassline soon joins the piece, backed by a synthesizer, this opening theme changing to a second section of different chord changes played by all instruments. A chromatic piano melody enters for the return to the initial harmonic changes. The return to the second section accompanies a new piano melody, and upon a final return to the initial chord changes, the piano quietly and simply improvises over top, all instruments fading out slowly.
