Nick Rushe was the keyboardist for Nine Inch Nails for a brief period in 1989, during the "Pretty Hate Machine" Promotional Tour. He replaced Chris Vrenna on the keyboards, so that Vrenna would be able to play drums for the band. David Haymes took Rushe's place in Nine Inch Nails after his departure.
Prior to the NIN tour, Rushe had played keyboards in 1989 for Cool Down Daddy with Sean Beavan.[1] [2] He joined the band Exotic Birds in 1990, after his tenure in Nine Inch Nails. Rushe played on the album Equilibrium, and may also have played on the demos for the cancelled Exotic Birds album set to be released sometime around 1991.
