This is the funniest thing I've ever seen. The band's page is the shortest one on the entire site. - Hegemon
Because were not allowed to post any sort of history involving any personal information. Which is what bio's are. We also can't post pictures that were posted on the NIN.com website itself, such as Trent smiling with his dad.--Velvolver 16:50, 23 March 2007 (PDT)
Finally, this page isn't the shortest on the site. Blank 22:53, 1 April 2007 (PDT)
It's because most of it was common knowledge:)-Velvolver 06:09, 9 April 2007 (PDT)
Someone needs to update the band photo...just a suggestion. Aeontriad
- I will upload a new photo as soon as new photos of the entire band are released.--leo3375 01:50, 18 May 2008 (PDT)
Eps and Remix Albums
On the release of Every Day Is Exactly The Same, the casing actually says that it is the With Teeth Remix EP, right on the cover. I think we should switch the placing of it on this to coincide with what the release of it says it is. Jgrizzy89 08:37, 1 May 2007 (PDT)
Singles
The Slip description refers to both Discipline and Echoplex was web-only singles, so if Discipline is on the list, why shouldn't Echoplex? Does a song have to receive mainstream radio play to be considered a single? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aeontriad (talk • contribs)
Echoplex wasn't released via nin.com, so although it was made avaliable to the public, it's not really a single (like the leaked tracks for YZ) Sheepdean 16:27, 11 May 2008 (PDT)
Death of Music?
A June 25, 2008 artcile from afterdawn.com reported that Gene Simmons blames Radiohead, NIN, and fans for the "death" of the music industry. If refences a November 2007 article and follows up with the following:
"He has followed his last tirade with some new comments, this time again blaming NIN and Radiohead but more importantly, the music fans. 'The record industry is dead,' Simmons notes 'It's six feet underground and unfortunately the fans have done this. They've decided to download and file share.' He then insisted that the aforementioned bands were 'contributing to the demise of the record industry' by using new intelligent sales models that apparently he does not approve of."

I think this is worth mentioning, but not sure where it would go, or if it should be put anywhere. Aeontriad 14:56, 26 June 2008 (PDT)
Maybe a new section, "criticisms of NiN"? Sheepdean 16:29, 26 June 2008 (PDT)
- You know, I was giving thought to creating a page in regards to file sharing in relation to NIN, and this would fit nicely. There is a lot of buzz in the music industry about what Trent and crew are doing. If someone would like to help with this (I have not yet create a new page, and I'm a little green when it comes to Wiki) feel free. Aeontriad 14:42, 27 June 2008 (PDT)
