Testing!
Hey, this is how you use your talk page to communicate with people. Just go to their talk page, type a message, and leave --~~~~ after the message for your name and the time to be put in automatically! The person will be notified. Please note, that if YOU reply below this message, I won't get it. It's common practice on Wikipedia to reply to both the one on your Discussion page AND on the page of the person who sent you the message. --Tony 19:48, 13 February 2007 (CST)
Year Zero Research Page Link
Hey, it's hard to immediately find the research page, so under the heading Year Zero on the main page, could you put something like:
"The Year Zero Research Pageis being constantly updated to track recent developments, theories, and essentially organize the ARG into a cohesive storyline"
Of course you can edit that however you'd like ;)

Props
Thanks for making the song page temp! A few of us have been trying hard to find a good looking "standard" by which the song pages should go by after they were all created with three or four different formats. X3 I'll continue updating the song pages slowly when I have the time. =3 --GrayscaleRain 11:13, 23 February 2007 (PST)
Hyperpower!
GIGWISE describes it as an "Instrumental introduction the album." In fact, it has descriptions of all the tracks. I'm putting this here because NinWiki's giving me an Internal Error when I try to edit the Talk:Hyperpower! page --Mr z 15:00, 10 March 2007 (PST)
Album Credits
I have done Album credit sections for all of the Halos to the best of my abilities. Some did not have much in the way of overall credits, though, while others were simply reduced to song-by-song. If those cases, I did't add Album credits but instead added them as Song Credits to their respective Song page (or Version subhead).--Leo3375 10:42, 12 April 2007 (PDT)
- Awesome job, thanks. I had asked so I could do the ones you hadn't gotten to yet, but I see you've done them all. Again, thanks. -Heroicraptor 12:15, 12 April 2007 (PDT)
Samples/Source files
Could we host them here? -Heroicraptor 22:59, 11 May 2007 (PDT)
American vs. International Spelling
Most sites I visit use American spelling. Even people in non-English-speaking countries seem to use it more often. Perhaps we should look at other sites to figure out what to do.--Leo3375 05:01, 21 May 2007 (PDT)
- What Wikipedia does is, they look at what the article is on and judge whether it's European or American. For instance, if it's an article about Yorkshire Pudding (which isn't ACTUALLY pudding), they'd use "favourite". If it were about the Boston Red Sox, they'd use "favorite".
- It seems more sensible to me to just leave the words how they are. The original editor should be the one to decide whether it should be "ou" or "o", and it really doesn't matter much anyway. Americans can understand the British version, Brits can understand the American version. My vote is to just let it be. --Tonyconverse! 08:05, 21 May 2007 (PDT)
- Alright, sounds good to me. -Heroicraptor 08:33, 21 May 2007 (PDT)
BYIT Closer video
The vidoe of "Closer" from BYIT was posted at YouTube by UMG. Since the record label was the one who uploaded the video, I feel that it is acceptable to post. Had it been uploaded by someone not affiliated with NIN, there would be a problem.--Leo3375 05:18, 22 May 2007 (PDT)
- Oh, I didn't see that UMG had uploaded the video. My bad. -Heroicraptor 08:03, 22 May 2007 (PDT)
Double Redirects
Hey, be careful of double redirects. Those are when you redirect to a redirect page. In this case, you redirected When The Whip Comes Down to Woodstock, when Woodstock redirects to 1994/08/13 Saugerties, NY. This is bad for the server and it's not a smooth redirect - it stops in the middle. I've fixed it for yeh, but watch out in the future ;-) --Tonyconverse! 20:20, 5 June 2007 (PDT)
[[wp:whatever]]
Is there any way to have the "wp:" part not be there? It just looks kinda ugly... -Heroicraptor 00:36, 25 August 2007 (PDT)
- Well, like this. Thanks for the question, einstein ;-). --Tonyconverse! 18:26, 25 August 2007 (PDT)
- Well yeah, but I meant like could you set it up so it automatically removes the "wp:" part? -Heroicraptor 21:40, 25 August 2007 (PDT)
- Nope. That would require changing a whole bunch of stuff in the core, and it'd get lost when/if we ever upgrade to the latest version. --Tonyconverse! 10:14, 26 August 2007 (PDT)
- Damn. Oh well. -Heroicraptor 11:52, 26 August 2007 (PDT)

Pssst! I have an idea!
I've been browsing the NinWiki lately and noticed that you don't like it when your name is written with a capital H. You can change that on your signatures, you know, in talk pages. Just follow these simple steps:
- 1. Click on "my preferences" (on the top right corner of the screen).
- 2. Check the box "Raw signatures (without automatic link)".
- 3. Now, copy the code below and paste it in the "Nickname" field as is:
[[User:Heroicraptor|heroicraptor]]
- 4. Click on "Save".
Done! From now on, whenever you post with the four tildes, your name will appear with a lowercase "h". Hope that helps! --Wizfan 05:55, 4 September 2007 (PDT)
Wow... That was fast! Glad you <3 me, heroicraptor. I am currently working on how to make your name on the User page and User talk page titles appear with a lowercase "h" (for example, "User:heroicraptor"). I found a Java script in Uncyclopedia (a Wikipedia spoof, in case you've never heard of it) that allows you to change the title appearance of an article. Go to uncyclopedia.org and search for the articles "Communism" (changes to "Kommunism?") and "Trent Reznor" (changes to... well... see it for yourself. :D) to see this script in action.
I could give the script to Tony and tell him to test it, if you want. Byez! --Wizfan 06:08, 4 September 2007 (PDT)
