Another Version Of The Truth
This is the original album version. Entirely instrumental, it is in two distinct sections. The first half fades in from underneath the decaying delay effect at the end of "The Great Destroyer," gradually building up more layers of noise loops. Underneath, a piano piece is played. Eventually, the noise loops give way to the relative clarity and sparseness of the second section, in which a different piano piece, slower and more contemplative, is overcome by a deeper synthesizer loop, which stops suddenly.

Another Version Of The Truth: Kronos Quartet & Enrique Gonzalez Müller
This remix is on Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D. It features string instruments over a wind-like sound effect. The first half is somewhat chaotic in terms of sound but it dies off and becomes a cello melody played over a violin and bass harmony. A viola comes in and plays the final melody as the cello joins the other instruments. This instrumentation is reminiscent of Reznor's performance at the 2006 Bridge School Benefit, which featured a string quartet. This song was not played at that particular concert.
