Category talk:Tour Dates
Is there any way to organize this better? It's a bit of a chore to read, the way it is.

- Could add city names to the dates, for example 2005/03/23 Fresno, CA. --Pomte 17:20, 20 February 2007 (PST)
- I like Pomte's idea a lot. The pages should say which tour it was, and which leg, the city and venue, and the opening acts. They should also include the live line-up and a setlist. --leo3375 16:55, 28 February 2007 (CST)

is there anyway to add a date to this? i was at a show, and i wanted to just add it in and post a setlist and stuff, but i can't figure out how to add more dates. I Am The Sea 14:21, 4 May 2007 (PDT)
- You have to make a page for that tour date and don't forget to add Category:Tour Dates in double brackets at the end of the page.--Leo3375 18:03, 4 May 2007 (PDT)
i know this sounds really dumb of me, but i can't figure out how to create a new page. I Am The Sea 19:59, 4 May 2007 (PDT)
- It's easy: Just enter the date and location you would like to create (example of formatting: 2005/10/11 St. Paul, MN) and if no page can be found, you will see a link to create the page. (I used the page I created for the concert I attended as my example. Look at the other Tour Date pages to see how they should be formatted.)--Leo3375 20:35, 4 May 2007 (PDT)
Succession box
This is a stupidly crazy idea, and one for doing after the wave goodbye tour is over, but what about a succession box for tour dates? I'm sure there are people out there other than myself who would like to go through them all chronologically. I'd be up for writing the box code, and I have a few weeks off in the summer to put them all in. OTT or worthwhile? sheepdeanis in your base killing your d00ds 11:45, 16 May 2009 (PDT)
- Example:
Previous Date: | {{{before}}} |
---|---|
Next Date: | {{{after}}} |
Could add support act to the box too
- I think it's an excellent idea! I'm also all for creating categories within the Tour Dates category for each tour.--leo3375 17:28, 16 May 2009 (PDT)
