Dissonance, Inc

Dissonance, Inc is a company created in December 2004 and owned by Trent Reznor, in order to handle the business side of Nine Inch Nails touring. It was created in the wake of Reznor's split from John Malm and Nothing Records and due to his need to rebuild a business apparatus owned solely by himself. It was also necessary due to changes in the music business landscape, with major record labels no longer providing funding support for artists' tours.

Dissonance, Inc was created in anticipation of the Live: With Teeth touring cycle in support of the then-upcoming With Teeth album. It has continued to produce every Nine Inch Nails tour since then.
