The song features the recurring sound simalar too that of a insect type creature, possibly that of a cockroach. Considering that the cockroach would be the last surviving creature of a nuclear apocalypse the song fits well with the post apocalyptic dystopia theme explored in ''[[Year Zero]]''

While '''"36 Ghosts IV"''' is not the greatest example of this, it should be noted that the much artwork embedded into the files of the official download of ''[[Ghosts I–IV]]'' from nin.com are not just croppings of the photographs in the PDF.
