A bassline enters with [[Trent Reznor]]'s vocals for the verses, joined by simple piano melodies and muted guitar for the pre-choruses and choruses. Like some of the vocal tracks in "[[All The Love In The World]]," Reznor sings in falsetto during this song's chorus, a rare feature in the [[NIN]] catalogue.
