The Australian version of the "Head Like a Hole" single has a mix called (Opal). Considering the lyrics of the song...Is there a connection?

A few songs mention opal, such as a line of Down In It: I’ll cross my heart and hope to die but the needle’s already in my eye. The Perfect Drug, Closer (Closer to god=The Presence)
