Theme From Call Of Duty Black Ops II
This is the main theme. The track starts off with a drone accompanied by a haunting piano melody, with a pulsing base synth and quiet swell guitars underneath. The Black Ops II motif enters suddenly, played on piano with noisy orchestral elements and heavy drums, which then crescendos and cuts off suddenly. A quiet vibraphone line continues playing. Pulsing bass kicks - reminiscent of a heartbeat - join, and quiet breaths are audible throughout this section. The Black Ops II motif is played on a quieter instrument. Loud and controlled drums enter with an electric bass line. After seven measures, layers of howling organ-like sounds play, followed by an ascending distorted electric guitar riff. Drones and noise fade in underneath, until all layers cut abruptly in the middle of a measure, leaving a quiet piano and bass drones, with scream-like sounds in the background. The climactic Black Ops II motif enters as in the beginning. It repeats, and dies down leaving a few measures of low sound effects and bass. The beginning piano melody enters, and fades out.
