How come the article header is 2007/03/18 when in fact the event occurred on 2007/04/18?

You think it was so fucking great to have been at the first meeting in LA? (15 years now? Feels like 50.) Ground zero for the resistance. God, yeah, at the time, the mural, the transports—cool shit. I thought that by going to some secret meeting I was standing up to make a difference.

Now I’ve been on the run for the last seven years. My brother Paul is dead because he threw himself out a window rather than go to Guam and rat me out. I never sleep in the same place twice. I wake up in the morning and I look at the floor trying to remember where the hell I am—lino, ratty carpet, the concrete of somebody’s mildewed basement. Good for me, I’m a fucking revolutionary. I don’t change the world. I’m lucky if I do my laundry.

Mostly I’m a cockroach. I find cracks in the American machine and I survive.
