Astricks
Hmm. There are a number of astricks scattered across the page. Anyone think that this has any relevence? And also, Aunt Chrissy's "Asshole Boyfriend" looks like a part of NIN. I just can't remember his name (John maybe?) And maybe this is a reference to the Survivalism video? --Electric 14:08, 27 April 2007 (PDT)
- I think they're used to break up narrative, like in how some books have a little graphic to break up text in the same chapter. -Heroicraptor 16:17, 28 April 2007 (PDT)
in my opinion it is deffinatly to seperate the "real time" presence information as it is recieved from the narrative not unlike how they are used in alice in wonderland ylbissop 19:16, 7 May 2007 (PDT)
Moral
I guess at least some who brought about the world of Year Zero did so with the best of intentions. There's a saying: "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." To that I add: "Freeway ends 1/2 mile." --Mr z 10:12, 5 May 2007 (PDT)
Global Warming
I don't know if anyone else made this connection, but having seen "An Inconvenient Truth," the first thing that sprang to mind when I looked at the graph of the presence sightings was the graph of the C02 levels in the atmosphere, which I think also had the recorded/projected stats. It might even be the same graph, or it could be my imagination. Disrepair 14:15, 8 May 2007 (PDT)
Consortium?
"So we were in a place called The Situation Room, the President and all the Consortium hotshots, everybody spinning and spinning… “blame it on the Arabs” “blame it on the Indians” “blame it on the dissidents” and i just listened to them talk, it was like dogs barking, Danny Jane. Crows screeching." Nothing on NINWiki yet about this Consortium group. I can't help but think that "the Consortium" was one of the early names we X-Files fans had for the Syndicate... I think. :) Either way, it seems like something ought to be written about this. RobertM525 14:36, 27 May 2007 (PDT)
