Song that Trent Reznor composed for the Mtv's program React Now in an effort to support the people that were displaced by the destruction that the hurricane Katrina caused in New Orleans in August, 2005.

This song was first played in the mentioned program and later it was part of the set list in the With Teeth tours with another song from the With Teeth outtakes, Not So Pretty Now. During a chat with fans on the official NIN fan club, The Spiral, Reznor stated that these songs were outtakes from the With Teeth sessions, and studio recordings of them may surface. A live recording of "Non-Entity" appears on Beside You In Time.[1]
