Talk:Capital G (song)
From http://anotherversionofthetruth.com/artist.htm, Philomena writes:
When I was 17 my bf & me went to this show at a flashclub, this local band, not
great but loud, you know, and rumored to be very real, very Resistance with a
capital R.
Maybe Capital G is about a government so large and bold that it's Government with a capital G. That seems to be a big push of this concept. --Tsguitar 21:44, 22 February 2007 (PST)
God and Government. Same thing. Aeonite 21:50, 22 February 2007 (PST)
i was thinking along the same lines.. the guns god and government theory
Theories
I removed that section for a couple of reasons, First, it's just rampant speculation, it provides very little reason to believe it, Second, I think it's wrong, to me it seems to be about how people are "selling out" their beliefs and how that's not a good thing, but I don't think ideas like that really belong on the article itself, the disc. page or ETS is a much better place to talk about that.
The removed text is pasted below, I my have screwed up the formatting, as I'm a bit new to editing wikis Theories This track is possibly about George W. Bush (as his name starts with a capital G, as does G.O.P.), and problems with the election process. The line about the temperature in Guatemala is obviously a reference to global climate change, which he has done little to control.
I don't think that belongs in the main page. Waeayovooo 11:51, 6 April 2007 (PDT)
