Is it just me, or does it seem like this is being sung from the viewpoint of Neil Czerno in captivity? Under the right circumstances, you'll say anything to get them to release you. [[User:Raan|Raan]] 16:52, 1 October 2007 (PDT)
Something I was wondering: Is it possible that this song is actually from the viewpoint of a soldier after being given the Red Pills? It all seems to fit: The subject "being responsible for the initiation of 'this thing'", which would be because he 'chose' to take the pills. 'That the conflict could have been prevented if he had known what he 'knows right now.'" fits because soldies aren't told the consequences of taking the pills until after they've begun. And "the only way to win is 'knowing not to fight,'" since the only way to stop the pills effects would be to force yourself to stop fighting. The lyrics seem to fit quite well too, especially "And I'm losing control" and "I'm not used to this".
