*Reznors are enemy mid-bosses that debuted in 1991's ''Super Mario Land''. Dayv Brooks was an employee of Nintendo of America from 1988-1993, and one of his jobs was giving English names to the Super Mario game characters during the Japanese to English localization process. He named most of the Koopalings after rock musicians, as well as naming Reznors after Trent Reznor. *The first person shooter ''SiN'' contains a reference to "[[Reptile]]" in the form of a bulletin board with the words "she has the blood of reptile underneath her skin" on it. The game title may also be a reference to "[[Sin (song)|Sin]]".

Closer examination reveals it would be a sin to waste them." If you make them into a nail bomb and throw it, the screen reads, "Looks like you're on a downward spiral..."
