Jeff Ward (November 1962–March 19, 1993) toured with Nine Inch Nails as the drummer, beginning with the Sin Tour and for all the 1991 shows, replacing Chris Vrenna who had been fired during that period. He had also worked with Ministry, Lard, and Revolting Cocks, among others. It is assumed that Ward became acquainted with Trent Reznor due to Reznor having worked with Al Jourgensen of Ministry and/or having toured with Revolting Cocks.
